Cornerstone Church is a small, lively and very busy church based in Dalgety Bay, Fife. We have been in existence for over 30 Years and were originally called the Barn Fellowship, meeting (as the name implies) in a barn in Aberdour. In 1982 we bought the old Church of Scotland building on the outskirts of Dalgety Bay and have been meeting there ever since.
Heart for the community
We are a church which sees itself as part of the local community. We work to contribute by being involved in the community life of “the Bay” and by providing services and ministry in a range of ways. Over the years we have been active in running community youth clubs,coffee & craft shops, street work with young people, as well as providing a full range of Christian services such as Sunday schools, weekly services and Bible study meetings, as well as Alpha Groups and counselling services.
Casting all your anxieties on Jesus
Our Pastor Dr Hazel Carr and her late husband Dr Geoff Carr have been involved in ministry together for over 40 years. While they are seeking to serve the needs of the local community they are also very busy nationally and internationally both as speakers and as pioneers setting up Bible colleges. These are modelled on the one attached to the church – Logos College – which they established 20 years ago.
