Home Groups

Between September and June, Bible Study Groups are held, sometimes in various homes and sometimes in the Church building.  These are times of great fellowship and learning whilst expounding the Word of God and are always very enjoyable, relaxing occasions.

Craft and Much More (Ladies’ Meeting)

Weekly meetings are held for ladies in the Kabin, Moray Way, Dalgety Bay where they can do a variety of crafts of their own choice, in pleasant company.  There is good chat over a cuppa and cake and sometimes there may be a game or two of scrabble!  It is a nice, informal gathering in an atmosphere where ladies can relax together and feel comfortable doing something they enjoy.

Care Home Ministry

When conditions allow, on a monthly basis, a team from the Church go into the local Care Home to share a Church Service with the residents and staff.  (These visits are currently suspended, due to Covid-19, but will resume once it is safe and suitable to do so.)

Summer Club

On an annual basis, Cornerstone Church presents a holiday club during the school summer holidays, for the children of the community, which, over the years, has always had a tremendous response.  The children (and holiday club leaders) have had great fun and taken away with them some wonderful memories of the songs, games, dramas, group work and of course, the Gospel message which is at the core of every holiday club.  The feedback from the children after each holiday club has been, that “it was great fun”, they “loved it”, they “loved all of it” and “do I have to wait a year for the next one?”

Community Christmas Outreach

On the first Friday in December, Cornerstone presents an Outreach Christmas Celebration for the community.  This is an effective way of sharing the Christmas message.  The evening’s programme has included dramas, readings, narrations, ensemble singing and solos, followed by a buffet supper.  This has always been well supported by the community and is what Cornerstone loves to do in service to the people of Dalgety Bay and beyond – sharing our Christmas with you!

Ladies’ Conferences

Throughout the year, Cornerstone Church presents ladies’ conferences led by Rev Dr Hazel Carr.  This involves a time of praise and worship and dynamic teaching and preaching, under the leading of the Holy Spirit.  The ladies who attend are from all over Scotland and always share that they have been ministered to and leave the conferences feeling blessed, edified and encouraged as they go back to their own Church settings.
